0253692854 | 2019-01-02 | Drill / Deepen / Reopen | No Violations | On the day of my inspection I witnessed Akita 803 drilling the 12.25 inch diameter section on air. They are currently in the Ohio shale at 4380 feet. Company man Van Dietrich said they have not seen any water or gas. |
0358295224 | 2019-04-22 | Completion Testing | No Violations | On the day of my inspection I witnessed FTS frac crew on location. They are tied into the 2h and 4h wells. They have not pumped a stage on this pad yet. They are currently finishing up with containment. There is an above ground storage tank for fresh water and twelve 350 barrel steel tanks for produced water, in their own containment. |
0440154646 | 2018-10-15 | Casing String Witnessed | No Violations | On the day of my inspection I witnessed that Falcon Rig 26 had drilled the 17.5-inch diameter hole to a depth of 1430 foot. Wyoming Casing crew ran 1416 feet of 13.325-inch diameter J 55 casing at 61 pounds per foot, with 3.4 feet of casing above Kelly Bushing, which is 13 feet above ground level. C&J Energy Services was on site and rigged up their cement head and loaded lines with 5 barrels of fresh water and pressure tested to 3000 pounds per square inch. C&J Energy Services pumped a 35-barrel gel spacer, washed up and then pumped 299.9 barrels 1415 sacks of 15.6 pounds per gallon with a yield of 1.19 cubic feet per sack Class A cement mixed with 5.24 gallons of water per sack. Cement was displaced with 209.3 barrels of fresh water, plug was bumped at 1000 pounds per square inch and pressured up to 1500 pounds per square inch floats held with 1.25 barrels of flow back. There was 50 barrels of good cement to surface. I informed Ascent company man Tony Shepard that the casing must remain static until cement reaches a compressive strength of 500 pounds per square inch. |
0549780541 | 2019-01-06 | Casing String Witnessed | No Violations | On the day of my inspection I witnessed the second stage intermediate casing cement job. Akita 803 drilled a 12.25 inch diameter open hole to a depth of 8465 feet. Previous casing set and cemented was 13.375 inch diameter surface casing to a depth of 1418 feet. Wyoming casing ran 8447 feet of 9.625 inch diameter casing, hcl-80, 40 lbs/foot. Casing was centralized. Shoe track is 84 feet long. Packer ran at 4500 and DV tool at 4496. Schlumberger was onsite with 508 sacks of class A lead cement and 727 sacks of class A tail cement. Lead cement weighed with mudscale at 13.5 ppg and yield of 1.67. 35% excess ran in open hole. Tail cement weighed with mudscale at 15.6 ppg and yield of 1.19. 35% excess ran in open hole. Cement displaced with 634 barrels of oil based mud. 28 barrels of 12.2 ppg spacer pumped ahead of cement. Plug landed and floats held. Rig inflated packer and dropped bomb. I did not witness first stage. For the second stage Schlumberger had 28 barrels of 12.2 ppg spacer and 1477 sacks of class A tail cement weighing 15.6 ppg and a yield of 1.67. 30% excess was ran on second stage. Cement displaced with 340 barrels of oil based mud. 68 barrels of cement returned to surface on second stage and 20 barrels of cement returned from first stage. |
