1382426277 | 2018-12-03 | Drill / Deepen / Reopen | No Violations | On the day of my inspection I witnessed Patterson 584 drilling a 12.25 inch diameter hole at 7970. Estimated total depth for this section is 8725, which is 100 feet into the Reedsville. Hole is not making any water but Company man Michael Rollins said the Queenstown drank approximately 400 barrels of fresh water. |
1495788527 | 2018-12-05 | Casing String Witnessed | No Violations | On the day of my inspection I witnessed Patterson 584 drilled a 12.25 inch diameter hole to 8746. Wyoming casing ran 8739.7 feet of 40#, j-55 casing, with a 2.7 foot stick up. Shoe is at 8737 and shoe track in 89 feet long. DV tool set at 4499. Casing was centralized with 199 centralizers. Schlumberger was onsite with 40 barrels of 13 ppg mud push, 488 sacks of lead cement, and 790 sacks of tail cement for the first stage. Class A lead cement weighed 13.5 ppg with mudscale and has a yield of 1.67. Class A tail cement weighed 15.6 with mudscale and has a yield of 1.19. 30% excess pumped on first stage. Displacement was 655 barrels of oil based mud and was pumped by the rig. Floats held with 3 barrels back to the truck. Rig will drop bomb and circulate on well for three hours prior to pumping second stage. Second stage will consist of 40 barrels of 13pp mud push and 1425 sacks of class A tail cement. Cement weighs 15.6 ppg and has a yield of 1.19. Hole was filled with 12.2pp oil based mud prior to pumping jobs. Second stage was not witnessed. |
1540490202 | 2018-10-25 | Casing String Witnessed | No Violations | On the day of my inspection I witnessed the mine string cement job. Falcon 26 drilled a 24 inch diameter open hole to a depth of 235 feet. Previous casing set and cemented was 30 inch diameter conductor casing to a depth of 100 feet. Wyoming Casing ran 227 feet of 18.675 inch diameter casing, j-55, 87.5 lbs/foot, 4 foot stickup. Shoe track is 24 feet long. Cement Baskets were set at 162 feet. Coal encountered at 142 and then from 174-186 feet. C&J/Otex was onsite with 445 sacks of class A cement. Cement weighed with mudscale at 15.6 ppg and yield of 1.2. 50% excess ran in open hole. Cement displaced with 62 barrels of fresh water. 35 barrels of gel pumped ahead of cement. No cement returned to surface. Floats held with 1 barrel back to the truck. 120 feet of one inch diameter tubing ran down backside. 10 barrels of cement pumped down backside to set up on basket. An additional 63 barrels of cement was pumped down backside after a 2 hour wait time. 10 barrels of cement returned to surface weighing 15.3 ppg. |
2033634144 | 2018-12-18 | Drill / Deepen / Reopen | No Violations | On the day of my inspection I witnessed Patterson 584 had reached total depth of 20188. Wyoming casing is onsite running the 23#, p-110, 5.5 inch diameter casing. Mud weight is 15.5 ppg. Well is static. Company man Josh Delso says they will be cementing tomorrow. |
2133050875 | 2019-05-29 | Preliminary Restoration | No Violations | On the day of my inspection I witnessed several different contractors on site. A group of contractors is working on flowlines and the other is working on the pipeline/well connect corridor. Well has been drilled out and is awaiting flowback. Wellheads are on but flowlines have not been plumbed in. This well does not currently have tubing ran in it. It will be plumbed to produce from both sides of the wellhead. Annular pressure gauges are shut in and both read zero psi. Production equipment includes four line heaters, four GPUs, eight sand seperators, and two 500 barrel steel tanks in their own containment. Pad is stable and vegetated. Site meets requirements of 1509.072 (A) for preliminary restoration. |
2142130563 | 2019-05-16 | Completion Testing | No Violations | On the day of my inspection I witnessed Deep Well Snubbing unit #10 on location. They have already drilled out the frac plugs on this well and it is awaiting flowback operations. They are not running production tubing in the well. The 13.375x9.625 annular pressure is zero and the 9.625x5.5 annular pressure is 3300 psi. Company Man Cory Lewis said that the gauge reads 2000 psi in non-daylight hours and 3300 psi in the daylight. I asked him to get it bleed down and check/change the gauge. Burst pressure of 9.625 casing is 5750 psi. |
