| 0026989668 | 2016-12-28 | Production Wells | No Violations | On the date of my inspection, accompanied by Supervisor Mike Moreland, I found a wellhead equipped with a simplex pumping unit, rods, tubing, and 5.5 inch casing. A 1 inch line with an open gate valve runs down next to the tubing and ties into a 6.5 inch line buried in the ground. A 2.375 inch line ties into the tubing and transitions into a rubber coated flexible line that is not attached to anything. There is a workover rig located approximately 3 feet from the wellhead. Four 55-gallon drums are scattered near the wellhead with other miscellaneous oil and gas debris. A strong gas odor can be smelled near the wellhead. The landowner of an adjoining property indicated that the flowline from all of the wells in the area used to collect in a tank battery made up of two 100 barrel and one 210 barrel tanks. There is no identification on the tanks or near the wellhead. This well is listed as having a historic owner in RBDMS and has no production records. |
