2113944097 2013-11-21 Production Wells No Violations The new mineral owner requested that I check out wells on his property to determine their suitability as injection/product recovery wells for this proposed ERP field. Currently there are four wells on or near the flood plain west of Symmes Creek and south of Linnville, Ohio. Three of the four wells including this one have the necessary plumbing at the surface including surface casing, intermediate casing and production tubing. This particular well will most likely become one of the product recovery wells. I discussed with the operator the tenuous location of this well being within three feet of the cut bank of the Symmes Creek. Something will have to be done to shore up the ground to prevent further erosion of the bank and compromise the integrity of this well and its operation. I also offered to him suggestions on control of any release to prevent its entry into Symmes Creek and containment spots along the creek down flow from this area if spill does enter the creek. I gave him the paper work necessary to change the ownership of the wells on his lease.
