The site looks good. Dale has removed a lot more of the buried trees and debris that is part of the slip. Dale was not on site at noon when I arrived. I left the site at 1:30pm. Dale has addressed the second slip in the area that EOG impacted.

I reminded Jeff of the slip activity on surrounding property that was not effected by the oil and gas activity.

Dale and I walked the site and looked at a second slip on the site that has formed further down slope from the first slip that was observed on my last visit to the site. Buckeye Rural Electrics line man stopped by and told us of the problems that they have had with the slip. He told us how they had to replace a pole and cut out some trees that fell due to the slip. Dale is going to dig some test holes to look at the soil layers and to see if he can find the rock surface that Rick Green told us about during our last meeting. Dale wants Greg Mills or Gary Green to come back out and see the test holes.

He will be done with this part of the restoration today and will continue to grade the site for the next few days. Site looks good. Dale still has to address the drainage issues on the top of the site. Positive drainage must be established to help stabilize the site.

We looked at the slip and discussed the history of the site and the present conditions. The Electric lines and poles are being moved by the slip. There is a gas line in the right of way that is also being moved. I have requested that the gas line be shut off until it can be rerouted away from the slip area. A future meeting is going to be planned with North Coast Energy and a Contractor they want to use. I took the opportunity to give North Coast a list of other problems in Lawrence Co. Including their idle wells and the stream crossing on Taylors and the small slip on Taylors.

The top of the hill at the previous well site has been left flat for the landowner to build a barn. The road has been left in place at the landowners request. I have informed Randy Moore (North Coast Energy) that a land owner waiver is required to pass this restoration. All equipment has been removed. No violations were observed. Pictures were taken of the restoration.
1678095288 2007-07-24 Final Restoration No Violations Met with Greg Mills and Dale Stewart on site. We looked at the 3 test pits that Dale made. The pits showed the different layers of soil and where the original ground layer was. Dale did not find the rock face that Rick green told us about. Dale did find red clay with a layer of wet sand on top of it. The restoration plan had to change due to not finding the rock face that was needed to install drains. The new plan involves the moving of the extra soil to the top of the site. The top will be raised approximately 4 feet with a plan to keep the flat area and still leave a place for the landowners New barn.
