1352377027 2012-09-14 Production Wells No Violations The Division received a landowner request to provide assistance with the identification of approximately seventeen (17) well locations on the property. The landowners son, Mr. James Wright, stated they are paying taxes on all wells, but own only the wells equipped with pump jacks. An inspection conducted with Mr. Wright revealed that this well did not contain a pumping unit. The wellbore consisted of rods, tubing, 5.5 surface casing set on a hanger and equipped with a wellhead. The drive pipe was not visible at the surface and could have been buried. A 100 bbl tank was observed on the property. Mr. Wright was asked if this was the only tank utilized? Mr. Wright stated that the wells were never connected to a tank. Instead, his grandfather pumped the fluids from each individual well into a portable tank and would then haul to a steel tank for storage. The immediate well location contained old shackle line equipment and 2 steel line not currently installed. The well location will be researched and verified with Central Office.
