0030274277 | 2011-09-22 | Drill / Deepen / Reopen | No Violations | Witnessed the washing of 11.5 bags of clay on backside of 5.5 casing to ensure protection of freshwater. The clay will be allowed to settle and washed as needed until clay is observed at the surface. The annular space between 7 and 8 casings contains a rod which has been welded to seal any void and prevent contamination from the surface. Two empty clay bags were rolled and placed around the backside of 8 casing and dirt placed on top to prevent any clay displaced from backside of 5.5 casing into backside of 8 casing. |
0045048810 | 2011-08-17 | Drill / Deepen / Reopen | No Violations | Arrived at Mr. Himelricks property and conducted an inspection of the spring house with Mr. Kevin McQueen prior to washing clay into annular space between 7 casing (24#) and 8 drive pipe. Note: 5.5 casing will be ran 50 below USDW and cemented to surface once this depth has been reached. The water was not clear and showed signs of turbidity. Washed 5 sacks of clay and allowed to settle. Returned to the spring house at 12:30 PM and noted that status remains unchanged. Clay was not observed in the spring house. The well owner/driller and landowner have agreed that spring house would be cleaned once spring is no longer disrupted. |
