| 0689562641 | 2017-05-16 | Production Wells | No Violations | This inspection was conducted as a status check. I was accompanied by Orphan Inspector Jeff Fry. An application will be filed and this well will be referred to the Orphan Well Program. Refer to Jeff Frys report for details. Time of inspection: 1:50 PM. |
| 0829958974 | 2012-01-31 | Production Wells | No Violations | A follow-up inspection was conducted to verify the status of multiple wells located on this property, which had been referenced within a West Region enforcement case file. During the inspection, it was noted that the well was idle. The well consisted of only rods, tubing, and 5.5 casing equipped with a steel plate on top. Although not connected, the well may have at one time been routed to the vicinity of a 100 bbl, 200 bbl saltwater tank (full) and old shackle line power station. The immediate well location contained an old rig and oil (weathered) saturated ground. The well was not listed in RBDMS and research determined the assignment of a permit number. Note: The enforcement case file for wells located on this property date back to the mid-1990s. This case will be discussed with Division Management. |
| 1140969024 | 2015-06-11 | Production Wells | No Violations | Inspect well as part of a status check. The well was equipped with rods and tubing but no pumping unit. The well was not capable of production. Identification was not posted at the well. The inpsection revealed a small truck mounted rig with mast down at the well. The area around the well was saturated in oil and has run down hill approximately 30 feet. The oil was weathered and the well was not leaking during inspection. The well may have at one time produced into a tank battery that consists of (3) 100 barrel tanks and (1) 300 barrel horizontal brine tank. Division Management/Legal will be consulted before further enforcement action is taken. Time of inspection: 3:37 PM. Weather: 67*F, Overcast |
| 1959019509 | 2012-05-11 | Administrative Inspection | No Violations | At 11:34 am, I received a call from Mr. Frank Paniccia, the landowner and alleged well owner, stating that his employee Mr. Randy Ayers had scheduled an appointment with an oil guy to reopen the wells. Mr. Paniccia further stated that he told Randy not to mess around and get the locations cleaned up. |
