0863887903 | 2018-08-02 | Production Wells | No Violations | The purpose of my inspection was to conduct a status check on well #2-1654. RBDMS indicated reported production was current. Access to the well remained drivable and stable. The 8.625 well head was above grade and open to atmosphere. The 4.5 production casing was equipped with a plunger lift assembly. Production valves were in the open position. Staining consistent with a legacy operation was present. I witnessed a small gas leak originating from the U-tube tee connection. Correct identification was present. A stable earthen dike that was free of fluid was present around the production tank. Equipment on location consisted of one (1) horizontal separator, one (1) 100 bbl production tank and one (1) 50 bbl brine tank. The separator remained in good repair and contained a current 16 day chart. The production tank remained in good repair and contained correct identification. Valves were closed and plugged. The heater tube contained a rubber cap. No leaking was observed. The brine tank remained in good repair. The inlet from the production tank was installed in the top of the tank. At the time of inspection I met lease operator Michelle Suciu who was on location to change production charts. I notified Ms. Suciu of the well head leak. She reported that she would be back to repair the connection. I will schedule a follow-up inspection to document the status of the repair. |
1017637386 | 2009-02-24 | Production Wells | No Violations | I performed a random field inspection. I GPSd both the tank battery and the wellhead for the first time. I continued to walk around both the wellhead and the tank battery and found both to be in good shape. The ID sign was posted. There were no violations at this time. |
