As I inspected the blow pit I noticed that the liner had been ripped from unloading the hole and hitting directly on the liner. I had the rig to stop drilling until this was repaired. I called Ralph Beech Drilling Superintendent for Marc Drilling and explained to him that I had the rig to stop drilling and get the pit emptied and replace the liner. This worked was done while I was on location. The pit liner was replaced and a diverter was placed on the blow line so it would not hit the liner. Drilling was resumed |
