A Baker Hughes inflatable packer was set at 7487 to allow for a 500 cement kickoff plug to be set on top of it. There were issues with unlatching from the packer because they could not get enough torque on the packer to properly unlatch. A wire line truck with a chemical cutter was being called out for the job but they were able to unlatch on a final attempt. They pumped 25 barrels of Tuned Spacer, 226 sacks of Densecem at 16.8 lb/gal and 1.02 yield. They followed this with 5 barrels of Tuned Spacer and displaced with 109 barrels of freshwater. |

I could see a water truck ( Haas Environmental Svc.) in the field. I spoke to Butch Peterson Superintendent for Southeast Horizontal Drilling, he said that they were moving fresh water boring fluid from the receiving side and taking it to the boring side and reusing it. This pipeline is for the Poland CLL1 1AH well. No violation at this time. |

1782668337 | 2012-01-07 | Drill / Deepen / Reopen | No Violations | I was notified of a problem on 1/7/2013 at 8:30 am by Bill Mitchell, Drilling Consultant for Hilcorp Energy, H&P Rig 225 after running 17,400 of 5.5 production casing in a 8.625 well bore. Halliburton Services installed their cement head and tryed break circulation. They pressured up to 5000 psi., shut down pulled 4 joints of production casing out and tried it again but could not break circulation at 5000 psi., Hilcorps Drilling Engineers instructed them to pull the 5.5 casing out, they pulled 16156 of 5.5 casing before getting stuck in the well bore. They used a chemical cutter to cut the casing at 7497 that left 1244 of 5.5 casing in the well bore. I notified Deputy Chief Robert Worstall and Steve Opritza of this, after a discussion with Hilcorp Energy they are gone back in the well bore and make a cleaning sweep before setting a Weatherford Inflatable bridge plug at 7497 and a 500 cement kick plug above that and build another kick off. There is a drawing of this in the well file. |

H&P Rig 225 ran drill pipe and tubing in the well to set the packer at 7497. The packer was to be set in three stages, starting with 500 psi and holding for 15 minutes, then with 800 psi and holding for 15 minutes, then the last with 1200 psi and holding 15 minutes and then evacuating the pressure. The packer would not set. This was tried several times. The decision was made to pull the drill pipe and packer back out of the well. They will call with there new plans. |
