Inspected production well on 06/26/2014. The tank battery consists of 1-210 bbl steel tank, 1-vertical separator, 1-horizontal separator, and an underground brine vault located within an earthen dike. No identification is posted at the tank battery as required. The well is equipped with a pump jack with an electric motor located within a locked metal fence. A gas leak was noted at the wellhead, but its source could not be determined as the source is underwater. Well identification is clearly displayed at the wellhead. Mr. Falkenstein was notified of the gas leak at the wellhead as well as the need for identification at the tank battery and will address it as soon as possible. No other problems were noted at the time of the inspection.
