| 1537542091 | 2018-09-19 | Production Wells | No Violations | Conducted compliance inspection to follow-up on H2S readings of 15 PPM that was encountered during a service job. I advised contractor (Dave Bishop) to make the call to Emergency Response to an official report.
This inspection found contractor had installed fans to direct air flow over well casing and windsock direction of wind. Gas meters for each personnel in the operation area and conducted a conducted a safety meeting this morning to establish a safety rallying point if the H2S reappears during the service operation. The tank battery consists of 2-100 bbl. steel tanks and 1-50 bbl. steel tank located within an earthen dike. Well identification is clearly displayed at the tank battery. 1-horizontal separator and a small compressor station are located nearby. The well is equipped with a pump jack with an electric motor. No Compliance issue were found at time of this inspection. |
