The tank battery consists of 1-100 bbl steel tank, 1-vertical separator, and a drip located within an earthen dike. Well identification is posted at the tank battery, but it lacks a permit number. The well is equipped with a pump jack with an electric motor. A small leak was noted at the connections on the right side of the wellhead. Some well identification information is written on the electric box at the wellhead. John Bernhardt with JR Bernhardt, Inc. was notified of these issues and will address them as soon as possible. No other problems were noted at the time of the inspection. |

I could not determine the pressure on the casing or on the tubing due to no gauges being installed on either. No leaks were observed on the wellhead or on the adjacent piping and the area around the well was nicely maintained. The tank battery contained one 100 bbl. steel oil storage tank, one vertical oil and gas separator unit, one working gas sales chart recorder and one drip assembly. An identification sign was posted on the steel tank, but the weather had washed away the required information from the sign. No leaks were seen on the tanks or piping within the tank battery, but there was a large amount of rain water that had accumulated within the dike at the south end of the battery. The dike was in good shape and the area within and around the tank battery was well maintained. I contacted John Bernhardt of J.R. Bernhardt, Inc. and advised him of the missing information from the identification sign. He advised me that he will have the well information put back on the identification sign within the week. |
