2013270846 | 2013-03-12 | Production Wells | No Violations | I inspected this well and found one plunger lift system installed on the wellhead. I could not determine the pressure on the casing or tubing as both installed gauges were broken. No leaks were detected on the wellhead or on the adjacent piping. The wellhead was enclosed with a triangular shaped wooden privacy fence, but was open on end to afford access to the well. The fence panels were in bad shape and were leaning inwards. The area within the fence and outside of the fence was well maintained. The tank battery contained one 100 bbl. steel oil storage tank, one 50 bbl. steel brine storage tank, one horizontal oil and gas separator unit with an enclosed non operating and disconnected gas sales chart recorder and one drip assembly. There were two residential type gas meters with regulators plumbed off of the separator and were supplying gas to a nearby pole building and a residence. The proper identification sign was posted on the steel tank and no leaks were observed on the tanks or piping within the tank battery. The dike was in good shape and the area within and around the tank battery was well maintained. |
