0079983599 2018-03-13 Production Wells No Violations I was on location today to do a follow-up inspection on this well for the well being idle and not capable of production. This well was issued a compliance notice on 7/03/2013 for not being capable of production. Production has not been reported on this well since 2005. At this time the well is still idle and incapable of production. All production valves are shut at the wellhead making the incapable of production.
0175977754 2016-01-04 Production Wells No Violations On my inspection today I found this well to be equipped with a pump jack and a 4 1/2 inch well head with 2 inch tubing. The ball valves on the well head tubbing are all shut in. The tank battery is equipped with a single 210 bbl tank, a 50 bbl plastic barrel, and two separator tanks. The valves on all the tanks are closed and on one of the dump valves there is a bee hive growing on it. The tank has an ID tag on it but it is blank. There has been no resolution to any of the issues.

I talked with Bob Masters and he stated that they still have to clean elemental sulfur in the line and that Artex will need to do a final inspection before gas will be allowed into their sales line. He also stated that they thing the pump is stuck downhole. He has Bill Mitton of Knox Energy lined up to service the well.

Tanks have been painted and there is a new motor on pumpjack, however well is shut in and the 4.5 lines are disconnected at the wellhead. Well tender, John Pryor, stated the well has issues and they had a hard time getting the unit to pump. I talked with Bob Masters and he was unaware that there was a compliance action on the well. He said they are doing everything they can to get the well back in production, and that he needs to secure enough money to get a service rig on location. He asked for an extension in order to get resolution to the issues.

0977515138 2013-07-03 Production Wells Violations Noted Upon inspection, I found well to be shut in. Inspector, Dave Ball accompanied me at this well. The dike was overgrown with vegetation and there was no chart in the meter. The wellhead had H2S scaling and odor, and there appeared to be a leak in the surface casing head. I spoke with Bob Atha and he stated they will have someone out there soon to take care of the issues. He said the well was in the process of being transferred over to someone with Cortland Energy. Operator must fix wellhead leak and operator must make well capable of production within 30 days; or plugging is required in 30 days.

They let me know it would be early next week before they would get back with me on the well. At this time the well is still idle and is not in production.
0982992725 2015-12-02 Production Wells No Violations This was a compliance notice follow-up inspection. On my inspection today I found the well to still be idle. Upon approaching the well I got a very strong smell of H2S coming off the well. All production lines are removed from the wellhead. Upon inspection of the tank battery the dump valve had a beehive on the hand of the valve. Each area is overgrown with vegetation making it difficult to get to the well head and the tanks.

1399040301 2014-05-02 Administrative Inspection No Violations Bob Masters with Cortland Energy called and stated that Artex was completing the gas contract this week in order for them to sell gas off of this well. He stated that Joe Schneider, of Artex, required everything to be in working order. They plan on charging the system with an Amine solution in order to deal with the H2S and should have the well in production within 6 weeks. He will continue to keep me posted as the work to getting the well back into commercial production.

I was able to contact Hocking Hills during my inspection to let them know this well is still idle. They are planning on getting someone down here to clean the well in in the next couple of weeks. They also stated they might have to request temporary abandon due to other activities they are dealing with at this time.

I contacted Doug Kitchen about the well to see what his plan is with it. Doug stated that they are still planning on getting this well back in production.

1613096103 2017-01-09 Production Wells No Violations The inspection today revealed that this well is equipped with a pumping unit, a 4 1/2 inch diameter wellhead, 1 1/2 inch diameter production tubing, and 2 inch diameter steel production lines. The valves on the wellhead are all closed at the time of inspection. The tank battery is equipped with a 100 barrel steel tank, 2 vertical separators, and a meter box with a chart inside it. Upon closer inspection of the meter box I found the chart was not up to date and there are big blue and red spots on the chart where the markers have been sitting for some time. There has been no resolution to the issue on this well and it is idle at the time of inspection. Updated pictures were taken at the time of inspection.
