Well Added to System | 2007-10-14 | NO PREVIOUS RECORD OF WELL. INSPECTION ON 4/26/2006 FOUND WELL BORE LEAKING OIL AND GAS AND FRESH WATER. FLUID POOLS IN A SMALL DEPRESSION AND OCCASIONALLY IS FLUSHED AWAY DURING HEAVY RAINS. MUSKINGUM RIVER IS APPROX 300 YDS AWAY. IT WAS ORIGINALLY THOUGTH THIS WELL WAS PERMIT # 2683, BUT ON FURTHER REVIEW, THAT WELL IS APPROX 700-1000' TO THE WEST. THE OLD OFG MAP SHOWS THREE DRY HOLES RIGHT IN THE AREA WHERE THE GPS PUTS THIS PROBLEM WELL, NONE OF WHICH WERE ON THE DIVISION MAP. I&O FILE INDICATES THAT OHIO FUEL SUPPLY HAD A LEASE ON THIS PROPERTY IN 1926-27. I&O CASE # 2006 08 045. |

0018430734 | 2010-11-01 | Orphan | No Violations | Started in well after mixing drill mud. No plugging material located at top of well. Using drill collars and 8 3/4 bit. Circulating crude oil, gas and water from well bore. At approx. 190ft drilled something hard, able to drill up and at 217ft located casing in well bore. Ran 7 casing for surface to 190ft, did not want to get to close to casing in well bore. Cemented casing back to surface, poor returns. Ran 100 sacks of class A cement. |
0260554041 | 2010-11-02 | Orphan | No Violations | Met Mike McCormac and Rob Stonerock at site. Company brought in a 6 1/4 bit and changed over to run into well bore. It appears gas has cut cement and coming up through cement on out side of 7 casing. Small amount of gas at this time, should be able to seal off gas when well has been plugged. Drilled out 20ft of cement left in bottom of 7 casing. Ran down to 217ft unable to get 6 1/4 bit into casing, will trip out and run a smaller bit. |

1273581904 | 2010-04-28 | Orphan | No Violations | Orphan Well Bid Meeting today at the well location with Mike McCormac, Friends of the Lower Muskingum River and Oil & Gas plugging contractors. Discussed pre-site work prior to the commencement of plugging such as, road location to include proposed 3 wide x 20 length culvert with #2 limestone at first creek crossing (entrance) and the removal of pollution and contamination discharged from the well. Fresh and old oil exists in a ditch along with stained organic material covering approx 75. It was agreed to that the ditch would be filled in after P&C removal; steel tanks will be used for plugging due to location; silt fence and hay bales for erosion control; Wayne National seed mix for restoration will resemble recent Dugan Ridge project; and No rip/rap will be needed. It was also agreed to that tree impact would be minimal, but if knocked down would be left for wildlife habitat and brush pushed aside. A Paw-paw grove might be impacted, but representative with Friends of Lower Muskingmum River believes they will recover. The culvert located at entrance will be left after plugging and abandonment. |
1288878165 | 2010-10-29 | Orphan | No Violations | Kilbarger Drlg moved in to start plugging orphan well, while grading well site unearthed another well with wooden casing and crude oil approx. 1ft from grade level. It appears second well maybe the production well and first well the water well used for drilling. Wooden casing diameter is approx. 15 inches. Approx. 12ft between well bores. First well not leaking gas today but second well is. Installed approx. 13ft of 9 5/8 casing in first well bore. Removed approx. 11ft of 2 tubing with a swage head and approx. 6ft of 6 5/8 casing. Installed 22ft of 11 3/4 casing in second well. |

Stopped and tripped out and replaced 4 3/4 bit with a 8 3/4 bit, rimmed out well bore to 280ft. Circulating drill mud up around outside 9 5/8 casing and around sub under drilling rig. Tripped out, pulled 9 5/8 casing, ran in 219ft of 7 casing will cement back to surface. Will go back in Sunday and start cleaning out well bore with drill mud and 6 1/4 bit. |
