The storage consists of the old black tank (#122119) a small plastic brine tank and a silver storage tank (old ERP tank). Oil has sprayed out of the three inch at the top of the silver tank, causing pollution and contamination. Oil has accumulated around edges of the dike. Some spray has gone outside the dike area toward the well and a small amount has leached through the dike wall. Status: contacted operator. Cortland is aware of the release and is in the process of remediation with absorbent material. Will continue to monitor.
