0101473579 | 2019-03-08 | Production Wells | No Violations | On the day of my inspection I witnessed production equipment included a 210-barrel steel production fluid storage tank contained within an earthen dike. There was a horizontal separator, drip and 2-inch diameter meter run as well as a small natural gas compressor that was outside of containment. The separator was no longer operational, and vales were closed going into it. The well consisted of 2.875-inch diameter tubing with a 2.875 inch to 2.375-inch diameter reducing swage nipple. There was a 2.375-inch diameter gate valve on top of the swage nipple and tubing was no longer hooked to flow line. The well appeared to have the casing attached to the flow line, connection was underground and could not be verified. The valve going into the flow line was closed. Identification was present on the production fluid storage tank, and production has been reported as 0 since 2014. Photographs were taken to assist with inspection and GPS coordinates were updated. |
