Grabbed my booms and went out - well is in Noble County, mess in Washington -called Stonebridge before leaving to make sure they knew and were on their way. Crew arrived about 7 PM, worked until 9 PM putting out booms, pads. Crew was out Saturday and Sunday and again Monday morning to finish clean-up. Was flushing stream with vac truck and collecting it in channel below with another truck. Caused by running tank over - pumper had been sick for 2 days and well on timer. Not sure when tank 1st started running over - lost maybe 5 bbl but went one-half to 3/4 mile down stream that runs parallel to Long Run in Salem/Liberty Twps. Will recheck in few days. OEPA called Friday night as soon as I had phone service. Met with EPA 7/14/08 to observce clean-up. |

Upon my arrival I witnessed two Stonebridge Operating personnel using a BT Energy vacuum truck to remove the oil from inside of the earthen dike. No oil escaped the dike. The clean-up is expected to last until dark and then resume tomorrow. |
