During my inspection the well was equipped with 4.5-inch diameter casing with a casing head, 2.375-inch diameter tubing, and rods. No pumping unit was attached. All valves appeared to be in the open position. The tubing was equipped with a cross tee fitting with one of the two sides open to the atmosphere. While using the Industrial Scientific Ventis Pro 4 gas detector I recorded zero readings for the lower explosive limit or Hydrogen sulfide. The well was situated within forest like surroundings with thick underbrush consuming the well. A lease road to the well could not be identified. There was not any identification located in a conspicuous place on or near the well. No production reports have been submitted to ODNR. |
