0053756922 2018-05-18 Orphan No Violations Orphan well inspection: Upon inspection, it is observed that this well is idle and abandoned. The well consists of 10.75 diameter conductor and 2.38 diameter production which is likely set on a packer. There is a hanger on the tubing which is welded to the conductor and there is a plate welded to the tubing-conductor annulus. The well is shut-in and is not leaking oil, gas, or brine. No pollution or contamination is observed around the wellhead area. There are two 2 diameter gate valves off of a tee fitting on the production tubing which lead to a 2 diameter steel flow line which is buried a short distance from the well. Division records for the well indicate it was plugged and abandoned in 1952. The well is located in an open field with no overhead or buried utilities nearby. Photos were taken of the well location and access road.
