1449098486 2015-12-02 Plug / Plug Back No Violations My inspection today is to witness Bell Oil plug a cable tool drilled well. This well is equipped with 8.625 inch surface casing and 4.5 production casing. Bell oil is also the owner of this well. There is 6 tons of prepared clay on location. They shoveled 3 tons of clay for the bottom plug. The rig pulled up on the 4.5 inch casing so they could remove the clamp and the 4.5 inch casing broke. It is estimated to be about 3 joints down where the break is. They pulled out the 4.5 inch casing to determine where the break is. A collar separated 3 joints down. Then they will go down hole, in the morning, with their dye tool to grip the top of the 4.5 inch casing.
1449522934 2015-12-07 Plug / Plug Back No Violations My inspection today is to witness Bell Oil continue plugging their Clinton well. The 4.5 inch casing parted at the coupling last Wednesday. Bell Oil made a threaded nipple to put on the end of a joint in an attempt to thread the nipple on to the remaining 4.5 inch casing still in the hole. I witnessed Bell Oil put the nipple on the joint and begin to trip the 4.5 inch casing back in the whole until they have reached the top of the parted 4.5 inch casing. Bell Oil successfully attached to the parted 4.5 inch casing. Then they lowered tools down to 2,000 ft. where telegraph was received and the 4.5 inch casing was ripped.
1449606054 2015-12-08 Plug / Plug Back No Violations During the time of my inspection Bell Oil pulled a joint to make sure the 4.5 inch casing was free from where they ripped yesterday. The first joint pulled really hard. There was a cave in on the 4.5 inch casing so Bell Oil slowly pulled 4 more joints until the pipe was free. They started to shovel clay and oil came to surface. So they waited and tried to wash more clay down hole. The oil came up again. So we will resume again tomorrow and attempt to finish plugging the well.
1449776857 2015-12-09 Plug / Plug Back No Violations During the time of my inspection today I witnessed Bell Oil shovel the remaining 3 tons of clay down the 4.5 inch casing to finish off the bottom plug. After finishing the bottom part of the plug the 4.5 inch casing was pulled.
1450207141 2015-12-15 Plug / Plug Back No Violations During the time of my inspection Bell Oil removed 4 joints of the 8.625 inch surface casing. That was all they could recover the 5th joint parted. When the 8.625 inch casing was pulled and parted it pinched off the pipe at the part. Bell Oil had a tool that they ran down hole to open up the pinched section that was parted to keep from creating an unwanted bridge within the remaining 8.625 inch casing. Continuing on Bell Oil shoveled 4 tons of clay. They let that settle and shovel more clay in tomorrow to bring the clay to surface.
1450283120 2015-12-16 Plug / Plug Back No Violations During the time of my inspection I witnessed Bell Oil cut the conductor casing down 4 feet under surface grade. Bell Oil shoveled 1 ton of clay to get the clay to surface and flush with the top of the conductor. A steel plate with the permit number was place on top of the conductor. The top of the well was buried leaving the top of the conductor 4 feet underground.
1563549192 2016-01-21 Final Restoration No Violations My inspection today is to check on the final restoration of the well site. This well was plugged December 16th, 2015. There is still a 100 bbl. tank on location that was used in the plugging of the well. This site has not met final restoration requirements. I will return on a later date to check final restoration status.
2132690394 2015-12-10 Plug / Plug Back No Violations During my inspection today Bell oil was on location with an additional 6 tons of clay. Bell oil lowered a 7 inch concrete bridge plug into the base of the 8.625 inch surface casing seat. Then 6 tons of clay were shoveled into the well.
