I met with Ryan Odendahl from KWEST GROUP today at this well to discuss with the landowner the options of plugging it or keeping it in production. The company came past this well while putting in new power lines throughout Perry County. While they were clearing out the right away they cut the plastic gas line coming from the well to the house. The company replaced the line but the landowner says that it messed the well up and they are unable to get any gas. I talked with both of them and explained what I thought happened. They are going to look at the options of plugging the well. I gave them a couple of contractors to call so they can figure out how much it might cost them.

I had a request from Columbus to check this well to see if it was used for domestic use. The well has a pumping unit on it with rods and 2 tubing in the well. There is a 2 gas line coming off of the casing that appears to be running to the house. I could here gas going through it. I could not find any production tanks for this well. It appears to me that this well is only used for house gas.

Altheirs Oil requested an inspection of the well, the inspection revealed well has not submitted production records since 1996. It appears landowner maybe using house gas from well. ID not legible at well head or tank battery. 1509.062. (A)(1) The owner of a well that has not been completed, a well that has not produced within one year after completion, or an existing well that has no reported production for two consecutive reporting periods as reported in accordance with section 1509.11 of the Revised Code shall plug. All producing leases shall be legibly identified in a conspicuous place on or near the well-head and the storage tank (s) as to owner, lease name, well number, permit number where available, county, and an emergency telephone number.
