At this time they have already pulled the rods and tubing from the well and are ready to set the bottom plug. Barry Bowers has his cement truck on location to set the plugs today. The bottom plug was set using Class A cement but when setting the plug it went on a vacuum and the plug did not hold. The bottom zone drank all of the cement so Bill Mitton from Knox Energy went to pick up some loss circulation material to pump ahead of the plug and seal it off. Once this was done we pumped another bottom plug to cover up the bottom zone. We landed the plug and put 500 lbs of pressure on it. The plug held this time so the rig crew set up there 4.5 inch ripping tools so they could rip the casing. |
