1378734743 2013-08-20 Administrative Inspection No Violations I performed this inspection in regards to complaint #4420 concerning the possible illegal dumping of brine at this location. This lease road is access to 12 producing wells on this farm (PN#s 20954, 20950, 20998, 20999, 20953, 20952, 20951, 24087, 21009, 20975, 20988, & 20997). These wells produce to 3 tank batteries containing a total of 4-210 barrel tanks and 3 cement vaults. Water truck traffic at this location is not unusual due to the number of wells producing at this location. It should also be noted that Atlas/Viking has a functioning salt water disposal well located approximately 3.5 miles from this location behind their offices on State Route 14. I inspected all 12 wells and their associated tank batteries and surface equipment. I also inspected several ponds and drainage ways on the farm and found no indications of illegal dumping of brine or contamination. I ran several low range Quantabs at different locations along the drainage ditch running across the farm and registered 1.8 units from the water. This equates to approximately 50 mg/l of chlorides and is within a normal background range. I will write individual inspection reports for each of the wells I inspected on this location. There is no evidence of brine dumping here and the complaint should be closed. No violations.
1878937972 2013-08-20 Production Wells No Violations I inspected this well in response to Complaint #4420. My inspection found the well operating with the aid of a pumping unit. The proper ID was posted at the wellhead and there was no sign of anything leaking. This well shares a common tank battery with PN#s 20950, 20999, & 20998. The tank battery is diked and contains a 210 barrel stock tank, a horizontal separator, and a brine vault. The proper ID is posted on the tank with all the associated wells listed. The site is clean and there is no indication of contamination or pollution. No violations.
