Refer to inspection of PN# 22314 for details on the shared tank battery. This property has been converted into a public park by the City of Aurora. My inspection of the wellhead found the well equipped with an electric pumping unit. The wellhead was fenced and the access gate was broken and open. ID was posted on the fence. The power box was no longer on the pole and was lying on the ground and up against the fence. The power line was on the ground and is cut between the power pole to the west and the pumping unit. It is unknown if the power has been disconnected at the main box located to the west. The condition of the power line between this well and PN#22311 to the west may be hazardous to park goers due to numerous trees leaning on, or fallen across the line. Enervest will, within two weeks; 1) repair or replace the damaged fencing around the wellhead and secure any access gates so that it is inaccessable to unauthorized personnel and the public; 2) Properly repair and/or disconnect any hazardous power sources; 3) Inspect the power line to the east and west for any safety hazards to the public (leaning trees). A check of records indicates that the well was not produced in 2012 and is currently incapable of production due to the condition of the power line. After addressing the safety issues with this well, Enervest will place the well back in production or properly plug and abandon this well. |
