| 1704291873 | 2015-04-08 | UrbanProduction Wells | No Violations | I conducted a status check inspection of this urban production well. The well is producing with the aid of a plunger lift system and is operating with battery powered Logic Controls. The tubing is equipped with a 1.5 Demco gate valve. The well is identified by writing on the door of the Logic box and is inadequate for urban production wells. There is a 50 barrel steel tank beside the wellhead and it is empty and disconnected. I found a Lowery 4.5 wellhead in the weeds behind the well and this needs to be removed. I inspected the tank battery which is shared by the Windmill #s 1, 2, & 4 wells (PN#s 1637, 2359, & 3049). The battery is fenced and diked and contains 2-210 barrel tanks, 1-70 barrel steel tank and three (3) horizontal separators. Identification is written on the tanks and there is a general ID with the pumpers phone number on the man door. The gate to the tank battery was not locked. I will speak with Equity about posting the proper ID signs at the wellhead and tank battery, about locking the gates as required by urban rules and other issues I found. |
