0744683410 2015-10-16 UrbanProduction Wells No Violations I was on location at the request of the tenant farmer to try and determine the owner and status of this tank battery. The tank battery is heavily overgrown and contains one (1) 210 barrel tank, a 70 barrel tank, and a horizontal separator. The ID is faded and indicates that Petrox is the owner of the well. I retrieved an old chart in the meter box indicating that the well is the R&G Wells Et Al #1. A date on the chart indicates that the chart was changed on 10/23/2007 and never changed out again. The farmer thought that the well may have been plugged but did not know for sure. I did not attempt to locate the wellhead at this time and told the farmer I would research the well records and determine the status of the well. My research found that there are no records indicating that the well has been plugged, and Petrox has reported production of zero (0) barrels of oil and zero (0) MCF of natural gas from 2008 through 2014. They last reported production of 30 MCF of natural gas in 2007, and the last commercial production was reported in 2005 of 127 MCF of natural gas. I will follow-up to field verify the existence of the well and take the appropriate actions based on my findings.
