Gary stated that he plans on having this well back in production within the next 30-60 days and that he is attaining a PSA unit to scrub the nitrogen from the gas this well produces.

No production has not been reported for this well since 2003 to 2012. There has been no changes made at the site other than keeping the weeds down. I called the operator, Gary Hopkins, about this situation. He has assured me that he is finally close to a deal to allow him to produce the gas from this well. I have extended this compliance another month to see if there has been any action on continued production from this well.

1405913279 2008-11-05 Administrative Inspection No Violations Mr. Gary Hopkins returned telephone call regarding status of wells located in Tar Hollow State Forest. Mr. Hopkins states that a week from Friday we will know if he can tie into a Columbias line. Mr. Hopkins has been speaking with Gas Quality Control about nitrogen content- they have filed a waiver request to accept his gas which contains 9-11% nitrogen. The Columbia line runs 6 miles north of wells and crosses ST RTE 327. He will contact me and should know something by end of the month.

He states that the problem is the nitrogen content in the gas. Columbia will not sign a waiver to accept this gas. In addition, Mr. Hopkins states that it took 3 months for Columbia to obtain gas samples. He plans to talk with another individual at Columbia regarding the waiver. There are two options if this waiver is not signed. The first option would be to acquire a PSA unit to remove the excess nitrogen. The second option is a cryogenic unit located near the well site however, this unit requires too much gas to operate.
1632824119 2009-05-19 Administrative Inspection No Violations Called Mr. Gary Hopkins at 2:37PM, 614-882-8533, in regards to his wells in Tar Hollow, Ross County. He states that he spoke with Columbia Gas Engineer yesterday. He was informed that this gentlemen could most likely push the waiver through if he sold none or very little gas in the summer time. The C18 Columbia line is a closed line routed to only Chillicothe. There would be a potential problem with re-lighting. Mr. Hopkins states that he received a new waiver format and has already re-submitted. Mr. Hopkins expressed interest in drilling. Further stating that he has not heard from the BLM lately, but they have renewed his drilling for 2 more years.
