0031051299 2012-12-11 Orphan No Violations Performed record check at Ross County Courthouse on property owner deed transfers for this well. The history of property owners names will help in finding lease name and owner of well drilled on this property and ultimately well construction details. Current property owner information will help me obtain the right of entry to provide access with equipment to plug this well.
1239027249 2012-12-06 Production Wells No Violations There was no well identification sign on this well. According to Ohio Fuel Maps this well was drilled by Liberty Oil and Gas. Casing, 6-inch diameter, rises out of the ground about 2.0. On top ot the casing appears to be a threaded collar and attached is a swedge fitting decreasing in size to 2-inches. A 2-inch rises above to a 2-inch t-fitting. Coming out of the stem of that fitting is a 1/4 inch pressure gauge. Vertically above this 2-inch T-fitting is a short 2-inch pipe, about 2-inches in length . On top is attached is a 2-inch brass master shut off valve. It was in the closed position at the time of my inspection. Above that valve is another 2-inch steel pipe terminating in a swedge cap with 1-3/8 inch pipe rises to an 1-3/8 inch 90- degree elbow fitting. There is a small 1-3/8 inch tubing attached ending in another similar elbow joint with another longer 1-3/8 inch tubing running toward the ground eventually terminating in another similar elbow. There is no plug at this end. There is a small, 1/2-inch in diameter hole in the swedge fitting. There was no gas detected using the Honeywell PhD6 gas detector monitoring the hole and fittings of the wellhead. Possible orphan candidate. I will check present owner to obtain Right of Entry paperwork and check previous ownership to determine when well was drilled and lease assignment information of previous owner of well.
