Records show a drilling permit was issued 7/7/76. No well information and no production has ever been reported. Proposed well location at the corner of a bean field and a house built about 10 years ago. No one at home at the house where in the corner the proposed was was supposed to be located. Talked to the neighbor at the house due south of the property and he never heard if there was a well drilled. Went to the location of the well using GPS units and coordinates reported on the drilling application. No well was seen. Area of the proposed well is an unmowed area piled with rocks from the farm field to the north and east. A flower pot was pitched in the unmmowed area and a gopher hole was seen. It does not appear that the well was ever drilled. |
