2014-10-28 | Surface Facility Construction | No Violations | The location for this well has been built. The previously existing wellbore has been plugged and a kickoff plug for this well will be set on 10/29. This well will use the existing 8.625 diameter surface casing set through the Berea Sandstone to 848.
2015-04-15 | Final Restoration | No Violations | I was on location to pass final restoration for this well. There is a plugging report on file for this well. This well was plugged back and sidetracked to drill well #34151228100100. The wellbore, lease road and tank battery were all reused for the sidetrack well. There is no pressure on the 8.625 diameter casing indicating the well was properly plugged and is not leaking. At this time final restoration has been passed.
2014-11-19 | Drill / Deepen / Reopen | No Violations | I was on location to check the status of Pep Drilling this well. Currently the rig is drilling ahead directionally at 3700 and has drilled through the Oriskany Sandstone. There have been no significant shows of gas or oil while drilling this well. The rig will continuing drilling ahead.
2019-03-27 | Preliminary Restoration | No Violations | My inspection found the pits have been filled and the land restored around the well and tank battery locations. There are no signs of active erosion at either location. The preliminary restoration is compliant with Ohio Revised Code 1509.072(A). The preliminary restoration is passed. The well is equipped with a pumpjack. The tank battery consists of a steel production tank, a plastic brine tank, a horizontal separator and a meter. The well is legibly identified. No compliances issues are cited at this time.
2014-11-21 | Drill / Deepen / Reopen | No Violations | I was on location to check the status of Pep drilling this well. Currently the rig is rotate drilling their 7.875 diameter hole at 4850 on air and expect to reach total depth tonight. A load of new 4.5 diameter casing was recently received on location and will be installed in the well.
2014-10-28 | Plug / Plug Back | No Violations | I was on location to witness the ripping of the 4.5 diameter casing and the setting of the Big Lime plug. Casing was ripped at 3247 but could not be pulled from the well due to it being hung up in the wellbore. The casing was circulated on from the backside of the 8.625 diameter casing and up through the 4.5 diameter casing. A approximately 30bbls of oil were removed. The 4.5 diameter casing was connected to a pump truck and circulated on for 20 min. This did not free the casing, but a 115 sk Big Lime plug was set through the 4.5 diameter casing from 3247 to 2870, and displaced with 46bbls of fresh water with full returns. An attempt will be made to pull the casing from the well tomorrow. If needed it will be ripped again and pulled from the well after the cement top has been tagged.
2014-10-27 | Plug / Plug Back | No Violations | I was on location to witness the setting of the bottom plug for this well. Chipco LLC ran 4762 of 1.5 diameter tubing into the well and pumped 30sks of Class A cement and displaced it with 10.9bbls of freshwater. The rig will pull the tubing out of the well and prepare it to rip the 4.5 diameter production casing on 10/28.
2014-11-22 | Casing String Witnessed | No Violations | I was on location to witness the cementing of the 4.5 diameter production casing. A 7.875 diameter hole was drilled to 5140 and 5128 of 4.5 diameter 10.5lb/ft casing was installed in the wellbore with 6 centralizers. While installing the casing at 2600 a quarter of the casing slips broke off and fell down the backside of the 4.5 diameter casing. Because this is a directional well it was believed that the metal would sit on a ledge and not move downhole. The casing was installed without issue and cemented. Universal Well Services pumped 160sks of 50/50 poz with 2% gel, 10% salt cement slurry and displaced it with 39 of fresh water. There was complete circulation throughout the job and the Pep drilling rig is going to be moving to Licking County.

2017-11-03 | Production Wells | No Violations | I did a status check inspection for this well. The well is equipped with a pumpjack. The tank battery consists of a steel production tank, a plastic brine tank, a horizontal separator and a meter. The well is legibly identified. No compliance issues are noted.
2015-03-20 | Preliminary Restoration | No Violations | I was on location to pass preliminary restoration for this well. The lease road is graveled and leads to a pumpjack well in good mechanical condition with all required gauges. The tank battery contains a 210bbl production tank, poly brine tank, vertical separator and meter box. The tank battery is surrounded by a dike and contains proper I.D. signage. The tank battery, wellhead and roadway all conform to spacing requirements. Vegetation has not been established on location. At this preliminary restoration has not been passed.
2014-11-18 | Drill / Deepen / Reopen | No Violations | I was on location to check the status of Pep Drilling this well. The wellbore consists of the existing 8.625 diameter casing from the previous wellbore that was plugged back. The rig is slide drilling at 3300 and is near the top of the Big Lime. The cold weather is not currently affecting the drilling of this well because the well is being drilled on air and soaping. They will continue to drill this well directionally until they reach their target.
2014-12-05 | Preliminary Restoration | No Violations | I was on location to check the status of reclaiming this location following the drilling of this well. The pits have been solidified and a pumpjack has been installed on the well. The power lines for the pumpjack are being installed. A new 210bbl production tank, horizontal separator and 50bbl poly brine tank have been installed in the tank battery. Once the equipment is removed from location and the location is seeded and vegetation established preliminary restoration will be passed at that time. I have contacted Enervest and informed them that a pop off and pressure gauge need to be installed on the annulus of the 8.6256 diameter casing and 4.5 diameter casing to monitor for pressures.
2014-10-30 | Plug / Plug Back | No Violations | I was on location to witness the setting of the kickoff plug for this well. Universal well services installed 1200 of 1.5 diameter tubing into the well and pumped 86sks of Type 1 cement and displaced it with 2.5bbls of fresh water. A total of a 300 kickoff plug will be in the well for the drilling rig to use as a kickoff plug when this will is drilled directionally.
2014-11-25 | Preliminary Restoration | No Violations | I was on location to check the status of Pep Drilling removing equipment from location and the closure of the pits. The last load of the Pep Drilling equipment was being loaded onto flatbeds trailers to be moved to their next well location. The pits are fenced off but will not be closed until after the well has been perforated. Perforation of the well will occur tomorrow 11/26/2014 and the location will begin to be restored following Thanksgiving.
