| 1540830526 | 2018-10-29 | Production Wells | Violations Noted | My inspection found this is a swab well which has a visible tee with a ball valve capped with a plastic bull plug. The well is overgrown with vegetation. The production line valve is closed. There is a domestic gas connection at the well with two open valves. I tried to contact the landowner where the well is located. They did not answer the door when I knocked, so I left a business card requesting a phone call. I spoke with Kyle Ahbel (Enervest), he advised me Enervest is in the process of applying for a plugging permit for this well. The RBDMS record shows the wells last production was in 2008 for 110 MCF gas. The tank battery consists of a steel production tank and a horizontal separator. The well is not legibly identified. No production report was submitted for 2009 and the owner has reported zero production from 2010 to 2017. Consequently, the well is in violation of Revised code 1509.062 and shall be plugged in accordance with Ohio Revised Code section 1509.12 (B)). The well owner/operator shall submit a written plugging schedule to Shawn Murphy at 3575 Forest Lake Dr., Ste. 150, Uniontown, Ohio 44685 within 30 days, per OAC 1501:9-11-05(B), and plug the well within 180 days. The well owner/operator will be notified if the plugging schedule is approved or denied. |
