1369748010 | 2013-05-25 | Production Wells | No Violations | I responded to a complaint filed by Mary Green concerning a possible spill that may have entered her pond. The pond was located within 30 feet, north of the tank battery. My inspection found no visible spills or leaks inside and outside the diked tank battery. At the southeastern end of the pond next to a storm drain, the area had been excavated and a 1 yellow poly flow line was completely severed. The flow line had been pulled back and the ends duct taped by Everflow a week earlier. I noticed no visible oil or brine in the pond. The surface of the pond was covered with algae, decaying leaves and pine needles, and pollen. George, the well tender for Everflow, was on location. He said the 4 concoil well had not been producing for the past few months. George disconnected and capped the flow line at the separator and at a blow off line from the wellhead to isolate the damaged 1 poly flow line. Everflow planned to repair the damaged 1 flow line. |
