The electrically driven pumpjack is identified and has oil staining on the wellhead and the ground around the wellhead from a loose stuffing box. The belt guard has been removed from the well and paraffin is present on the pumpjack from a stripping job. The tank battery is surrounded by a dike, identified and contains two (2) 100bbl production tanks, 50bbl brine tank and vertical separator. I contacted Steve Sigler of Buckeye and he indicated the stuffing box will be repaired and the oil will be cleaned up and removed late next week. |
