1538581538 | 2018-10-02 | Plug / Plug Back | No Violations | Moore Well Service (MWS) was the plugging contractor on the well. Barton Well Services pumped 18 barrels of saltwater to stabilized the well. Well records ( from Operator ) indicated that a Parmaco packer ( Model C - 303 ) was set in the 4.5 casing at 1212 to remedy a hole in the 4.5 casing at approximately 900. The packer was released and MWS pulled 39 joints of 2.375 to the packer and 82 joints after the packer. With the addition of 120 of 2.375 the tubing was lowered to 3803 to be used as a work string. Well was secured and operations were shutdown overnight. |
1634291936 | 2018-10-04 | Plug / Plug Back | No Violations | Moore Well Service was the plugging Contractor for the well. Previous attempts to part the casing, using a ripping tool, were unsuccessful starting at 2459 and moving up to 2345. Appalachian Well Surveys were employed to run a Cement Bond Log -VDL to determine at which point the pipe was free in order to part the 4.5 casing as deep as possible. The logging tools reached a total depth of 1928 in the 4.5 casing. Log interpetation indicated the deepest free point was located at 1436. Appalachian Well Surveys shot and cut the 4.5 casing at that depth. Moore Well Services removed the 4.5 casing and then lowered 2.375 tubing to 1386 to serve as a work string for cement plug placement. The well was secured overnight. |
1775470753 | 2018-10-09 | Plug / Plug Back | No Violations | Due to a holiday, I did not witness the cutting off of the 8.625 surface casing and the attachment of the I. D. plate. I spoke with Jeff Moore ( Moore Well Services, plugging contractor ) and was informed that the well was cut off and capped. I requested that the photos taken of the cutting and plate attachment be forwarded to me. My inspection of the wellsite did not indicate any migration from the well. Moore Well Service left a two (2) inch pipe, which was three (3) feet high, planted above the casing stump to serve as a monument. |
2109561349 | 2018-10-03 | Plug / Plug Back | No Violations | Moore Well Service was the plugging contractor with Petroset Cementing Services (PCS) supplying the cement and pumping services. PCS pumped 60 barrels of fresh water to load the hole and circulate. After circulating an additional 20 barrels it was determined that the fluid was not going to circulate to surface due to a hole in the casing at approximately 900. Mix water parameters wee 65 F, pH was 7, Cl were ~ 450. PCS mixed and displaced a cement slurry through the interval 3803 to 3303. Moore Well Service removed the 2.375 work string and I noticed water on the 19th joint or approximately 600. After the tubing was removed the well was shut in for four (4) hrs. MWS lowered the ripping tool and tagged the cement at 3160. Numerous attempts were made to part the 4.5 casing but with no success. Decision was made by MWS to shoot off the 4.5 casing and then remove it. The well was secured overnight. |
