0600124679 | 2018-08-02 | Plug / Plug Back | No Violations | I conducted a pre-plugging inspection to assess the integrity of the casing strings. The wellhead was located in an area of new construction and where the grade was lowered by approximately 25. The 8.625 surface casing , with a cement sheath, was left free standing in the air. I spoke with Steve Hagan, ( of Hagan Well Service, plugging contractor) who reported that the 4.5 casing had approximately 700 psi with the 8.625 casing showing just a puff of gas when opened to the atmosphere. The plan was to Bullhead squeeze the Clinton sand plug and leave it set over the weekend and cut down the casing to present grade and continue with plugging operations. |
1210299246 | 2003-12-31 | Production Wells | No Violations | Status check inspection - the well is now owned and operated by North American, NOT Whidbey Resources. I called Rick Batta and requested that he check his files for the transfer and correct records in Columbus if necessary. I also asked that he ID the well head since all four JD III wells share a common tank battery. |
1327114110 | 2018-12-10 | Final Restoration | No Violations | The JD III # 4 was plugged on 8/7/2018. Plugging was required in order to allow for a new office building to be constructed. The former location of the well will be in grass island in the parking area. The two (2) inch flow line was removed from the lines that serviced the JD III # 3 ( 34-153-2-2725 ). The tank battery was a common tank battery shared with J D III # 1, # 2 & #3 ( 34-1532-2-2624,2625,2725 ) and was still being used. I did not find any surface expression of any previous oil and gas activity. Final Restoration passed. |
