The well is equipped with a plunger lift assembly. The tank battery consists of a 100 barrel production tank and a mechanical separator. There is a dike around the tank. An identification sign is posted on the separator and at the lease road entrance. There is a plug and lock on the load line. The lease road is in stable condition with a locked gate at the entrance. Atlas has filed zero annual production from 2003 to 2014. I spoke with the well tender on location. The well tender stated the well has not produced for several years. I called and spoke with Rusty Morrison, field supervisor for Atlas. Mr. Morrison stated the well is not capable of production. I told Mr. Morrison a compliance notice will be issued to plug the well. Atlas has 30 days to submit to the Division a plan for review and approval to plug the well. Please submit the plugging plan to ODNR Inspector Richard Skidmore at: Ohio Dept. of Natural Resources, Division of Oil & Gas, 3575 Forest Lake Drive, Suite 150, Uniontown, OH 44685. |

The tank battery contained one, 100 barrel oil/brine storage tank and a dike. The separator was outside the diked tank battery with the proper identification sign. The lease road was in good condition, there was a locked gate at the entrance, and located directly across from the Creekside Gardens. I noticed no visible spills or leaks. The well reached total depth in 1980. There are no violations at this time. |
