1828728220 | 2015-11-03 | UrbanProduction Wells | No Violations | I was on location for a status check. During my inspection, I found the well in production. The well is equipped with a plunger lift assembly. The 2 flow line ball valve at the well is in the open position. The tank battery consists of a 100 barrel production tank, a 50 barrel brine tank, and a mechanical separator. There is a dike around the tank battery; however, the north end of the dike is completed weathered and in capable of meeting containment. There are identification signs posted at the well and tank battery. The identification sign at the tank battery has no permit number. There is a plug on the load line. The tank battery is shared with permit numbers 2-3778, 2-3778, and 2-3764. The well was placed into production prior to House Bill 278. I called and spoke with KDA. I instructed KDA to repair the dike around the tank battery and posted a new identification sign with all of the permit numbers. |
