Fire extinguishers were in various locations around the site. There was casing pipe on location for the next stage of cementing. The pipe was 40lb, 9 5/8 inch pipe. The API number on the pipe was SCT-0381. The lease road was in good repair and constructed of lime stone. |

The loud noise was from using nitrogen to kick off the well over the weekend. Also, nitrogen was released from Universal tanker trucks prior to injecting down the backside. The well was currently kicked off; however, Halcon is still dialing in their production facility which is west to southwest of the well. The flare was part of the production facility and being used to burn off flash gas from the production tanks and the returned nitrogen from kicking the well off. While on location, the flare did get loud for approximately 15 minutes. I asked Doug Oaks, Halcon production supervisor, about the loud flare. Doug stated the compressor went down and they needed to vent the gas until the compressor was restarted. I took to videos of the flare while it was burning off flash gas. The first location of the video was from within 30 ft. and the other was from the tree line east the flare and production equipment. |

The well and production equipment were surrounded by a wooden post and wire fence. The entire area around the well pad was being used for agricultural purposes by the landowner. |
