0020821135 | 2019-02-21 | Drill / Deepen / Reopen | No Violations | I was on location to conduct a status check. At the time of this inspection, US Energy was on location to begin setting up the rig and other equipment to complete the drilling of this well. Drilling pits are installed and lined. One of the pits had freshwater in it which will be used during the drilling process. The site was stable. No violations observed. |
0137768420 | 2018-08-07 | Not Drilled | No Violations | Status check inspection of this horizontal, Clinton Sandstone well pad. The pad has been constructed and the cellar has been installed and sealed. Top soil is stockpiled on the north and east sides of the pad and is stabilized with vegetation. The pits have not been excavated and will be located on the north side of the pad. I found no violations at this time. |
0966621459 | 2018-09-21 | Casing String Witnessed | No Violations | I was on location to witness the cement of the 13.375 conductor casing. U.S. Energy set two (2) joints of 36lb/ft. casing at 67 (KB +5) with one (1) centralizer. Petroset Cementing cemented the casing with 27.3 barrels (130 sacks) of Class A cement slurry. Six (6) barrels of good returns circulated to the cellar during the job. See casing ticket for more details on this job. No violations. |

1553001403 | 2019-03-19 | Drill / Deepen / Reopen | No Violations | I conducted an inspection on this location. U.S. Energy was on location and has begun drilling the lateral string for this well. Hole size for this string was 6 1/4 inch and the bit depth was at 3344 feet, at the time of this inspection. The drilling activity was ongoing. The pits had sufficient space for fluid and cutting storage and no erosion was present on location. No violations observed. |
1553177146 | 2019-03-21 | Drill / Deepen / Reopen | No Violations | I conducted an inspection on this location. U.S. Energy was on location and drilling of the lateral string for this well was ongoing. The current bit depth was at 3926 feet, at the time of this inspection. The pits had sufficient space for fluid and cutting storage and no erosion was present on location. No violations observed. |
1553542494 | 2019-03-25 | Drill / Deepen / Reopen | No Violations | I conducted an inspection on this location. U.S. Energy was on location and drilling activities were ongoing for the lateral string on this well. The current bit depth was at 4502 feet, at the time of this inspection. The pits had sufficient space for fluid and cutting storage and no erosion was present on location. No violations observed. |
1554146519 | 2019-04-01 | Drill / Deepen / Reopen | No Violations | I conducted an inspection on this well drilling location. U.S. Energy was on location and drilling activities were ongoing for the lateral string on this well. The current bit depth was at 5761 feet, at the time of this inspection. The current permit issued for this well was 5729 feet, but US Energy wanted to continue the lateral section for another 400 feet to approximately 6104 total feet. I spoke with Cary Leshock on location from US Energy to contact DOGRM - Permitting Section for a revised permit, regarding the change in lateral depth. Mr. Leshock stated that he would have US Energy contact the DOGRM - Permitting to obtain the necessary updated permit information. No violations observed regarding my inspection of the site location. |
1554392186 | 2019-04-04 | Casing String Witnessed | No Violations | I was on location to witness the cementing of the 4.5 inch production string. U.S. Energy completed the drilling of the 6 1/4 inch borehole to a depth of 6128 feet. They ran 139 joints of 11.6 lb/ft, 4 1/2 inch casing and a 10 foot pup joint with a latch down plug to a depth of 6098 feet. Petroset Cementing Services, (PCS) was on location. PCS rigged up and established circulation to condition the borehole with 200 lbs of Wyoming Bentonite gel. PCS mixed and pumped 50 barrels of Class A cement slurry with 2% calcium chloride. Cement was scaled and verified at 15.3 ppg. The mix water pH was 6 and the temperature was 35.6 deg F. The latch down plug was dropped and displaced at 6082 feet with 95 barrels of water. The plug landed at 1000 psi and pressure was increased to 1500 psi and held for five minutes. No change in pressure occurred and the float held once pressure was released. PCS rigged down. |
1904011874 | 2018-09-27 | Drill / Deepen / Reopen | No Violations | I was on location to witness the cementing of the 7 intermediate casing string. Petroset Cementing cemented 3348 of 20lb/ft. casing with 84 barrels (400 sacks) of Class A cement slurry pre-mixed with 3% calcium chloride. The plug landed in the float shoe at 1000psi and the pressure was increased and held at 1500psi for 5 minutes with no leak off. The pressure was released and the float held. See casing ticket for more details on this job. No violations. |
