0068557350 | 2019-03-13 | Casing String Witnessed | No Violations | I was on location to witness the cementing of the 4 1/2 inch production casing. U.S. Energy completed the drilling of the 6 1/4 inch borehole to a depth of 6670 feet. They ran 151 joints of 11.6 lb/ft, 4 1/2 inch casing and a 10 foot pup joint with a latch down plug to a depth of 6639 feet. Petroset Cementing Services, (PCS) was on location. PCS rigged up and established circulation to condition the borehole with 200 lbs of Wyoming Bentonite gel. PCS mixed and pumped 50 barrels of Class A cement slurry with 2% calcium chloride. Cement was scaled and verified at 15.5 ppg. The mix water pH was 6. The latch down plug was dropped and displaced at 6633 feet with 103 barrels of water. The plug landed at 1000 psi and pressure was increased to 1500 psi and held for five minutes. No change in pressure occurred and the float held once pressure was released. The well was then shut-in and PCS rigged down. |
0613995165 | 2019-03-04 | Drill / Deepen / Reopen | No Violations | I conducted a status check inspection on this site. Drilling activities have commenced on the 6 1/4 inch hole. At the time of this inspection, the bit depth was at 4822 feet. The site was stable. No erosion issues observed and the freeboard within the drilling pits was approximately 7 to 8 feet above the current fluid level. No violations observed. |
1115963801 | 2018-09-19 | Casing String Witnessed | No Violations | I was on location to witness the cementing of the 7 intermediate casing. U.S. Energy Rig #9 drilled an 8.75 to a depth of 3371 and ran 3346 of 7 intermediate casing equipped with 16 centralizers. Petroset Cementing cemented the casing with 84 barrels of Class A cement slurry. Good circulation was maintained throughout the entire job. See casing ticket for more details on this job. No violations. |
1533660775 | 2018-08-07 | Not Drilled | No Violations | Status check inspection of this horizontal, Clinton Sandstone well pad. The pad has been constructed and the cellar has been installed and sealed. Top soil is stockpiled on the north and east sides of the pad and is stabilized with vegetation. The pits have not been excavated and will be located on the north side of the pad. I found no violations at this time. |
1536766560 | 2018-09-12 | Drill / Deepen / Reopen | No Violations | Status check of U.S. Energy drilling operations. The drilling rig is an Ingersoll-Rand RD20 and will be doing the top hole (vertical section) work on this well. They spudded the well this morning and set 25 of 20 drive pipe inside the cellar. They are currently picking up the 17.5 tri-cone to drill the conductor hole. There are two (2) joints of 56lb/ft., 13.375 casing and nine (9) joints of 36lb/ft., 9.625 casing on the trailer. The drilling pit has been dug and lined on the north side of the location. There were no violations at this time. |
1537278781 | 2018-09-18 | Drill / Deepen / Reopen | No Violations | I was on location to check the drilling status of U.S. Energy. They are currently dusting (drilling on air) a 8.75 hole at a depth of 2310 and misting the cuttings to the pit. I inspected the intermediate casing on the racks and it is new, 20lb/ft, 7, API 5CT pipe. There are 24 joints of Range-3 casing and one (1) pup joint fitted with a guide shoe. The bow spring centralizers and wiper plug are under the doghouse. There was a small pin hole leak in the misting line and I requested that it be repaired during the next connection. There were no violations at this time. |
1550761350 | 2019-02-21 | Drill / Deepen / Reopen | No Violations | I was on location to conduct a status check. At the time of this inspection, US Energy was on location to begin setting up the rig and other equipment to complete the drilling of this well. Drilling pits are installed and lined. One of the pits had freshwater in it which will be used during the drilling process. The site was stable. Drilling operations to begin for the production string on this well will begin on 2/25/19. No violations observed. |
1551891084 | 2019-02-27 | Drill / Deepen / Reopen | No Violations | I conducted an inspection on this site. No drilling activity had commenced on location, at the time of this inspection. US Energy crew were working on repairs to the pit liners due to heavy winds the day before. No erosion issues were present and no violations were observed. |
1552660185 | 2019-03-11 | Drill / Deepen / Reopen | No Violations | I conducted a status check inspection on this site. Ongoing drilling activities at well location. At the time of this inspection, the bit depth was at 6364 feet. The site was stable. No erosion issues observed and the freeboard within the drilling pits was approximately 7 to 8 feet above the current fluid level. No violations observed. |
2049781713 | 2018-09-13 | Casing String Witnessed | No Violations | I was on location to witness the cementing of the 9.625 surface casing. U.S. Energy ran 7 joints of 26lb/ft. casing with a 21 pup joint and shoe to 312 (KB +5) with five (5) centralizers. Petroset Cementing cemented the casing with 31.5 barrels (150 sacks) of Class A cement slurry. 7 barrels of good cement circulated to surface during the job. The cement was scaled at 15.7lbs/gallon, the mix water was 77 degrees with a pH of 7, and the chlorides were measured at less than 130ppm. See casing ticket for more details on this job. No violations. |
