| 0054344558 | 2015-01-24 | Production Wells | No Violations | I received a call on an oil spill. A flow line ruptured and < 5 bbls of crude oil was on the ground. An estimated 1 bbl got to an unnamed intermittant tributary of the Conotton Creek. The spill was contained in a quiet area of the stream behind a boom. There was a second boom ~ 40 down the creek. There was a small volume of oil < 1 gallon at a dead spot 30 below that where I put a two small booms to contain it. I could find no further oil down stream. I contacted the OEPA and the Southern Region Supervisor and Equity Oil and Gas. Equity said they would clean up the oil in the creek on the morrow. The Tuscarawas Co Inspector was also notified of the situation so he could be there. |

The site still has a couple of small staining of the soil. That are on the hill above the creek. There is no sheen. Aaron is going to contact Equity Oil & Gas to advise them of what needs to be done to close out the spill. |
