Refer to previous hand written inspection 8/27/03 for description of site. This well was discovered as a result of a complaint by Mike May (7/7/03). The pit where temporary repairs were made to control the leaking oil has been backfilled. The valve to control the leak is visible above ground. Picures taken for I&O file. Courthouse research was done prior to inspection. Only records of oil lease on property are dated 1895 and expired 1896. |
