Mr. Grizer stated that the well is not yet hooked up for domestic use, but will be by next Friday, 10/9/2015. I requested that Mr. Grizer call me as soon as the well is hooked up and in use and I will perform an inspection for the exempt domestic pre-transfer. |
| 0730005847 | 2015-04-02 | Exempt Well Pre Transfer | No Violations | I performed an inspection on this well in response to a request from the ODNR DOGRM Bonding Section. Upon inspection, it was observed that the well is equipped for production and/or domestic use. The well consists of 7 surface casing and 4.5 production casing. There is a 2 steel line coming from the well head and runs underground to the northwest toward the road. The well is currently shut in. I spoke with the landowner, Mr. William Grizer, and he stated that the well is not currently providing domestic gas, but will be once his new house is finished. The new house is currentlly under construction and is approximately 500 from the well head on the same parcel of land. There are no pollution or contamination issues with this well. I informed Mr. Grizer that he must post complete ID information at the well head upon receiving domestic ownership and he agreed. No significant compliance issues that would prevent the transfer of ownership were observed. |
| 0816835918 | 2014-03-12 | Production Wells | No Violations | Landowner Mr. Bill Grieser requested that I inspect this well for him. He stated that the well had been out of production for a long time. Well is equipped with a well head for gas production. On top of the well head there is a swage and a valve. The valve is open and is not connected to any production line. On the side of the well head there is a nipple, a valve and then a steel production line. The valve is closed and there is a hole in the production line that is 3/8 to a 1/2 in. in diameter. No pollution or contamination was observed and smell of gas was observed. There is no tank associated with this well. I was accompanied by Mr. Bill Grieser on this inspection. I received a phone call from Mr. Jim Williams at 1:24pm after I left the site. He stated that there was plastic line coming from that well at one time and he had taken it up to move it, then Mr. Grieser didnt allow him on the property after that. He stated that when it dries up in the next couple of weeks, he plans on putting plastic line back to the well and getting it back online. He also stated that his lease only goes down to 2500 ft. on this well and that Nisource owns the deep rights on the property. |
