0157101034 | 2018-07-24 | Exempt Well Pre Transfer | No Violations | On this day, I am conducting a pre-exempt domestic transfer inspection. I found the well equipped with 4.5 inch diameter casing, 2.375 inch diameter tubing, and a 1 inch diameter hollow sucker rod that appears to provide production, as well. All production valves are closed. The well is operated by means of a pumping unit with an electric motor. The well appears capable of providing domestic gas. The production facility consists of (1) 100 barrel steel tank, vertical separator, and an orifice sales meter. It will be noted that the underground concrete brine vault that the previous inspector identified, still exists and currently has fluid inside. I spoke with the landowner, Keith Snider, and he indicated that well will be providing domestic gas to the household on the property. Pictures were taken during inspection. |
1458225932 | 2016-03-15 | Production Wells | No Violations | Upon inspection, it was observed that this well is capable of production, but is currently shut-in. The well consists of a pumping unit standing over 4.5 production casing and 2 production tubing. The tank battery consists of a 100 bbl production tank, mechanical separator, drip, and meter run. The chart in the meter shows recent production and is dated 2-23-16. The containment dike around the 100 bbl tank is insufficient and needs rebuilt. There is a concrete brine storage vault which is buried flush with the ground surface. The vault has approximately 2.5 of oily brine and rainwater in it. I will be requesting that Stonebridge Operating Co. either demonstrate the integrity of the brine vault or pump it out and remove it so an above ground brine tank can be set. There is a 4 pipeline running through this lease which uncontrollably leaks gas in several areas along it. The wells on this lease as well as several others feed gas into the line which runs to Eramet, a factory along SR-7. I am in contact with the PUCO and Stonebridge Operating Co. to figure out who owns the line and who has jurisdiction over it. No compliance notice will be issued until this is sorted out. I was accompanied on this inspection by landowner/complainant Mr. Keith Snider. |

2104077115 | 2016-03-31 | Production Wells | No Violations | Upon inspection, it was observed that the well is shut in and the previously leaking 4 pipeline is also shut in. Removal of the underground brine vault should begin within the next week. |
