0042300798 2005-08-09 Production Wells No Violations Inspection this day found plastic line from well had developed hole and sprayed oil on top of ground, downhill about 20. Landowner had called EPA, has not been getting along with operator. Got there at noon and pumper had weed-whipped saturated grass and bagged, to take to landfill. Had scattered some lime, and landowner did not want any more done to ground as valuable pasture ground. Went on and on about a pregnant horse that got tangled up in steel flow line while giving birth and both died. Wants paid for them. Stonebridge has agreed to $250 payment, even tho had vet out and she said horse did not die anywhere near the line. Told landowner this was legal matter, was not getting involved, altho did have them bury steel line where horse reportedly died since they had backhoe there today. Told landowner to put hay over rest of line or bury his self, as he now knows of a potential problem.
