0069121207 2004-06-17 Production Wells Violations Noted Inspection this day found oil spill continuing to get cleaned up - road ditch only has rainbow - much better - hole to collect oil only has water, old tank removed and new tank getting set today - gravel down and wanted me to come see if dike big enough - it measures 20 x 32 so only need 1 tall to meet requirements - oil dirt from old pit area has been placed on plastic and letting oil run out of it and being collected - will try and reclaim when all oil out.
0137005890 2004-06-13 Production Wells No Violations Inspection this day found tank had developed hole and had leaked - have a low dike which cows have tramped down - oil has run down hill and into road ditch - down in creek about 400. Would estimate 5-10 bbl lost - still have 1.5 in tank but cant tell today where leak is. Cleanup has begun - vac truck came to remove oil in tank, hole dug to collect oil running downhill and to stop more movement into creek, pads applied in creek and it appears to be all cleaned up in creek today. Tomorrow will flush hillside with fresh water, remove bad tank, remove contaminated soil, rebuild tank pad and dike. Worked this day from 1-
0600040895 2004-06-18 Production Wells No Violations Stonebridge reported today that someone had put sugar in the gas tank of the backhoe, parked at the oil spill. They called sheriff and he investigated, then reportedly talked with Mr. Dailey. This is the 2nd incident of foul play while they have been trying to clean up their oil spill. The first occurred on 6/14/04 - when they arrived at lease, found a cloth plug placed in overflow pipe in the pit they had dug to collect oil, had been removed. They were predicting rains that night before and with a lot of rain, their pit would have run over, spilling water and oil on the ground. With the plug in place, the pit could have contained more fluid before spilling over.
1087592933 2004-05-25 Production Wells No Violations Complaint today from landowner, Mark Dailly regarding idle well #2 - says it has not produced in very long time - they took jack off. When talked to Stonebridge, they report it is a swab well - dont need jack there - and is currently not producing - needs swabbed but has been wet and is long way back to well - landowner is already unhappy with them and they were trying to wait until dried out some as didnt want to cut up his land. Hoped to get to it very soon. Passed this information along to landowner and will continue to monitor.
1089640483 2004-07-12 Production Wells No Violations inspection this day found oil spill reclamation almost finished. Holes to collect oil have been filled in and smoothed out, tank has sufficient dike with fence, current chart in meter but not making much, operator reports cant find straw but is looking and will seed and mulch in next few weeks. All looks good to me!
1230116852 2004-06-21 Production Wells No Violations Inspection this day found good dike around tank, will be swabbing well hopefully this well. Oil still in dirt below tank, gradually draining out as fair amount collected today in pits dug to collect it in. Oil still coming out of ground further on down along the lease road. Last pit (farthest downhill) and creek are clear. Will just have to monitor pits until no more oil comes out of ground, then will either remove soil or till up and lime.
