- NOV might make them come in and work on well and he doesnt want that. Took pictures of closed valves, IDs on tank, no dike, jack very overgrown and unattended. Valves shut at well. Chart in meter is old -- not sure how they are paying landowner as well is shut-in and chart 1 year old. Landowner is not getting enough house gas from well, is buying gas from Dominion and has been for 4 years. | |

Well with jack is not in production, landowner getting very little gas - he says valve to his house still open but not enough to run house - all other valves at well and separator are shut -- Dave Eichorn called to say pumper came out late yesterday (5 PM) and started the jack. Developed a leak near the garden from when Dave had plowed it last March or April. Small puddle of oil. If they had been producing well, should have found it last March/April and smelled/saw the leak all summer long while working the garden. Should have also missed the production and found the leak. They have NOT been producing the well but continue to send Dave small royalty checks. Annual production for 2009 was reported at 204 mcf gas yet chart was not changed after 1/09. |

At jack, line disconnected running to house for house gas (this done 3/11). 2 steel line also still severed in garden area between tank and well when, in Spring 2010, landowner cut line plowing garden - oil leak at that time which I witnessed. In 7/11, line to tanks was cut in another spot while owner was mowing pasture. These 3 breaks make it impossible for well to produce. Landowner reports valves were shut at well @ 11/08 yet company reports 204 mcf for 2009 - they must be mistaken or report gas on the wrong well - this is not correct. Valves have not been open at well since that time (11/08) except when attempting to sell gas and discovered severed lines. This well has been idle for 3 years now yet operator continues to send royalty checks. Pictures taken. |
